More instrumentally dense than Volumes I & II, Volume III adds more percussion, loud distorted guitars, funky hip-hop raps, and jazzy electric keyboard work. The same concept is still prevalent: electric adaptations of Santería chants and rhythms.

English: During the month of March 2003 the musical group SINTESIS has been working on its most recent production: the last Volume of ANCESTROS TRILOGY, which will come out to the market under the label Unicornio-Abdala in a deluxe collection. This Trilogy is the compilation of the work carried out by SINTESIS with Afro-Cuban songs of yoruba origin, in magnificent fusion with the creative procedures of jazz, rock and international pop music.

Volume I combines the themes of "Ancestros" -recorded in 1989 by the musicians that formed the group then Carlos Alfonso, Ele Valdés, Lucía Huergo, Fidel García, José Bustillo and Frank Padilla- with arrangements by Carlos Alfonso and Lucía Huergo and the addition of folkloric master percussionist Lázaro Ross as a special guest.

Volume II includes all the themes from the disk "Orishas", recorded in 1997 by the group that formed Carlos Alfonso, Ele Valdés, Fidel García, Esteban Puebla, Equis Alfonso, Raúl Pineda and Víctor Navarrete, having special performances of Luis Conte, Kevin Ricard, Michito Sánchez, Cecilia Noel, Carlitos del Puerto and the raper Charlie 2Ner. The arrangements were made by Carlos Alfonso, Esteban Puebla and Equis Alfonso.

Among the 13 themes of Volume III are some from the disk "Ancestros II" which were recorded with William Martínez, Fidel García and Raúl Pineda in 1993, as well as versions of other themes made with new arrangements. These pieces have been especially recorded for this deluxe edition by the present group, integrated by Carlos Alfonso, Ele Valdés, Esteban Puebla, Equis Alfonso, Oney Cumbá, Yoandy Hernández, Sergio Cardoso, and the young vocalists Madonna Alfonso and Diana J. Fuentes.

Estas piezas se han grabado especialmente para esta edición de lujo por los músicos que conforman hoy la conocida agrupación: Carlos Alfonso, Ele Valdés, Esteban Puebla, Equis Alfonso, Oney Cumbá, Yoandy Hernández, Sergio Cardoso , Madonna Alfonso, Diana J.
